In the still and quiet
While all others asleep
My soul finds rest
In the deep

Wonder of your presence
Surrounds my every fear
For where ere my mind
May wander

You are always there
In fog and firelight
In dawn or darkest
Night

Wash my worries
Away before
The storms
That toss
This day

Ground my feet
In your unwavering
Wisdom

Not long can I
Withstand
To remain

Faithful
In your
Footsteps

Yet faithfully
You guide
And carry

In all my weakness
Exposed am I
Every part

You know by heart
And still your love
Unending

Through all things
Shall endure
Through life
And death
And evermore
